Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our web site.

Murray's accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa and American Express. All prices are subject to change without notice. Catalog prices do not reflect the cost of delivery. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.
CLAIMS AND EXCEPTIONS
Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be filed within 24 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to re-route orders for timely delivery but cannot be responsible for damaged or compromised product due to the following:
1. Delayed deliveries due to weather or other "Acts of God"
2. Incorrect addresses
3. Unopened shipments (all boxes are clearly marked "Perishable")
4. Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of perishables!
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
It takes a day to receive and process your order.
Orders placed before midnight will be automatically shipped the following business day, Monday –Thursday, unless you have specified a future ship date.
All orders are shipped with guaranteed arrival the following business day. In addition, orders shipping within Manhattan may be sent by messenger.

Please note that all cheese orders placed on Thursday will ship Monday unless Saturday Delivery is selected for an additional charge. We cannot ship on Saturday or Sunday.
If desired, you can select a future ship date during the checkout process. Please note that if you select a ship date for your order during checkout, it will not apply to Cheese of the Month purchases or class enrollment!

*For Saturday arrival, you may choose a Friday ship date and SAT shipping method for an additional charge on the shipping page at checkout.
During December and other peak periods, we may require additional days to process and deliver your order and will inform you of any unusual delays.
We ship all packages with Signature Release, so FedEx will leave it at your door if you are not available to receive it. We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii require FedEx Priority Overnight shipping. Orders shipping to Puerto Rico must be placed over the phone. To place an order going to Puerto Rico, please call 212.243.3289 x7 between the hours of 9AM and 6PM Monday-Friday.
GIFT MESSAGES
A personalized gift note can be included with all of our products at no extra charge. You will be prompted to write a gift message when your online order is sent to a different name than the one used for purchase. Please be sure to include a signature!
GIFT RECEIPT POLICY
If the order is being shipped to a recipient other than the billing name, it will not include pricing on the packing slip included with the order.
In cheese of the month section, please italicize these words: we will send you a welcome letter for your recipient so you can mail or present it as you wish.
CHEESE OF THE MONTH
Your one-time charge includes the cost of membership and monthly shipping charges. If you have purchased Cheese of the Month as a gift, we will send you a welcome letter for your recipient so you can mail or present it as you wish.
Cheese of the Month shipments arrive on the second Thursday of the month. If you will be unable to receive your cheese for any reason, please contact us at least 24 hours before the expected delivery date at orders@murrayscheese.com or toll-free at 1.888.MY.CHEEZ x7 (that's 888.692.4339) to delay your shipment. Please note: if you specify a ship date for your order during checkout it will not apply to your Cheese of the Month selection!
GIFT CARDS
Murray's gift cards may be used toward the purchase of any of our cheeses, food products, accessories, and educational programs. Gift certificates must be redeemed over the phone or in person at one of our retail locations. To redeem yours, please contact us at (888) MY CHEEZ x7.
All gift cards are mailed out via USPS First-Class Mail upon receipt of your order.
CREDIT CARD APPROVALS
When your order is placed, your card will be authorized for the amount of your order. The charge to your card is not actually made until we ship the order. It may appear as though there are two charges, but there's one authorization and one charge. If your statement arrives and there are in fact two charges, please contact us immediately at 888.MY.CHEEZ (888.692.4339). However, the majority of authorizations clear themselves within a matter of hours following the actual one-time charge made to your card when the order shipped.
PACKAGING
Your cheeses are packaged in insulated cartons and fitted with ice packs to ensure quality standards for up to 48 hours. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.
QUALITY
Please note that to ensure quality, all cheese is cut to order. Cutting cheese is an art, not a science. We do our very best to cut as accurately as possible.
PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS
Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within gift selections. We always compose gift selections with alternative ingredients of equal or greater quality.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
Murray’s Cheese occasionally makes our list of customer names and addresses available to carefully screened companies and organizations which might be of interest to you. If you prefer not to be included in this opportunity, please send your information to us, exactly as it appears in any mailing from us, via email or fax to the contact locations listed above with a note requesting removal from mailing list.
SUPPLYING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Murray’s Cheese collects information from you at several different points on our Web site in order to facilitate the delivery of services or the fulfillment of an order. There will be times, such as when placing an order, subscribing to a service, registering on the site, requesting a catalogue, at which we may request personal information such as your name, billing/shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information, etc. It is solely your choice whether or not you provide this information. However, should you choose not to provide the information, we may be unable to process an order, fulfill a service, or display certain content on our Web site.
INTERNAL USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Murray’s Cheese uses collected information for internal use such as analyzing trends and statistics, creation of your personalized “my account” section, and sending catalogues and newsletters by mail or e-mail.
EXTERNAL USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We use outside purveyors for some services such as shipping and credit card processing. In order to use these services we must provide them with some of your personal information. These companies work with us with the understanding that they are not permitted to retain, share, store or use your information for any purpose aside from assisting in your customer transaction with Murray’s Cheese.
At times, we partner with third parties to provide specific services, such as sending our e-mail newsletters and mailing catalogues. When you sign up to receive newsletters or mailings, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These companies work with us with the understanding that they are not permitted to retain, share, store or use your information for any purpose aside from assisting in your customer transaction with Murray’s Cheese.
We may occasionally partner with other carefully screened organizations in order to offer products, activities and services which might be of interest to you. In this case, we will provide our partners with customer names, addresses, and e-mail addresses.
