The Creminelli family has been producing artisan meat products as far back as the 17th century, according to their family legend. Cristiano, who grew up in the family Salumifico, has won awards for salami-making excellence in his native Italy and brought the Creminelli tradition to America in 2007. From the outset, the goal of Creminelli Fine Meats has been to provide Americans with traditional Italian meat specialties, some of which weren’t otherwise available in the U.S. and many of which are available only on a regional basis in Italy. Cristiano uses flavor and texture are his trusted guides when sourcing raw materials; he uses all natural and organic ingredients that are purchased locally whenever possible, and only uses heritage meats that are humanely raised.
