Major Farms

We're fans of authenticity, but this is one knock-off we love. Made from raw sheep's milk in Putney, VT, this round was the result of Cynthia and David Major's months of cheesemaking training in the French Pyrenees. Their dedication shows: smooth, sweet, and herbaceous, with notes of clover, mint, and thyme. Each wheel takes a turn in Major Farm's French-style cheese caves before it reaches our own, where it hits a perfect 4 months. Enjoy this fabulous faux Frenchie with dry sherry.
