HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU ABOUT CLASSES?
For any and all questions for our Education Department, email us at email@example.com or call us at 212.243.3289 x42. An associate is available by phone from 12:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday; at 4:30pm we begin setting up for your fantastic cheese course! If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a voicemail with your Name, Phone Number, Email, and the reason for your call. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
I CAN’T MAKE MY CLASS. CAN I CANCEL?
All tickets to Murray’s Cheese classes are nonrefundable. We're sorry, but Murray's Cheese cannot be held responsible for changes of plan, delays or cancellations due to scheduling, inclement weather or anything else beyond our control. If you wish to transfer these tickets to an alternate party, please send us written communication to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to 4:00 pm on the day of the cheese course. Tickets cannot be transferred to an alternate class date.
WHERE ARE CLASSES HELD?
Unless otherwise noted, all classes are held at our Flagship West Village location at 254 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10014. The classroom is located on the second floor of the store.
THE CLASS I WANT IS FULL. CAN I BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST?
Of course! Just send us a quick email at email@example.com with your name, the class you’re interested in taking, and the number of people in your party. We will contact you if space opens up in your desired class.
WILL I RECEIVE TICKETS IN THE MAIL?
Nope! Once you register, your name is added to our class roster. Just let us know your name at the door, and you’re all set.
WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED NOW OR ONCE I TAKE THE CLASS?
Credit cards are charged at the time of reservation.
CAN I PURCHASE A CLASS USING A GIFT CARD?
Sure can! Just call 212.243.3289 x 42 during the office hours listed above and we’ll get you signed up right away. Please have your card number on the back of the card ready to go; and your credit card info handy in case there is a remaining balance for the tickets.
HOW DO I BUY A CLASS AS A GIFT?
How thoughtful of you! We’d sure like to be your friend. When giving a class as a gift for another person, we typically recommend purchasing a gift card in the amount of the class, so that the recipient may schedule a class that fits with his or her schedule. Gift cards can be purchased and personalized with an accompanying gift message on our site. You may also request a “Gift of Cheese Knowledge” Certificate via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to send you a digital copy.
DOES MURRAY’S EVER CANCEL CLASSES?
While we do our best to pack the house each and every night, we reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In such cases, we will transfer each purchased ticket to an alternate class date of your choice within six months of the original class date. In the event of extreme conditions, including but not limited to hurricanes, fires, floods, blizzards, or transit strikes, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone a course until a suitable alternate date can be found.
HOW MUCH CHEESE WILL I EAT IN THE CLASS?
Each class tastes between four and eight cheeses per class, which works out to somewhere between a third and a half a pound of cheese in about an hour and a half. We also serve dried fruits, nuts, and sliced bread. We’ll do our best not to send you home hungry!
