They sort of look like green apples. My Mom told me they make nice pomanders. But how do you eat them? Do like the Spanish: cook them down with sugar and lemon - the fruit has enough pectin to gel up on its own - and serve with aged sheep cheese, Vella Dry Jack, and hearty Blues. Mitica did all the hard work, you just have to eat this sweet stuff.
