Grafton 1 Year Cheddar Brick 16oz
This item is currently unavailable.
In 1892, a group of Vermont dairy farmers created a co-op to turn their surplus milk into cheese. This tradition of crafting handmade, raw milk cheese from local farms is going strong today at Grafton Village. Plus, feasting on Grafton Village Cheese means supporting the Windham Foundation, which helps rural communities in Vermont thrive.
This is the youngest of their Cheddars, creamy and rich, with the comforting appeal of an old-school farmhouse cheddar. It's not too intense, and its sweet apple and brown butter flavors go down easy. A great snack with ripe pears; perfect for melting on chili. Open a crisp Riesling, or a bright Pilsner.

Farmhouse Ales & SoursFarmhouse, Saison, Bière de Garde, Lambic, Sour Beer
Farmhouse ales, instead of being driven by malt or hops, depend on the yeast for their distinctive spicy, floral, and tart flavors. Commonly made by brewers in France and Belgium, farmhouse ales are usually light in color and body and quite effervescent. From time to time, brewers allow wild yeasts to ferment the beer, resulting in a brew that falls somewhere in between pleasantly bright to bracingly sour.
