Trufflin® Black Winter Truffles 1oz
Also called "Perigord truffles,” these Whole Fresh Black Winter Truffles from France have an incredible full-bodied and earthy flavor and aroma. Easily the most versatile truffles, they can be lightly cooked in rich sauces or simply shaved raw on pasta, eggs or risotto.
Truffles should be refrigerated upon receiving. Black truffles have a shelf life of about 10 days, but for best flavor and texture, it’s recommended to eat within a week of receiving. For storage, open the truffle bag immediately when received. Wrap dry napkins around the truffles, and place in an airtight container into the fridge. While black truffles can be frozen, it is not recommended as this will impact their aroma.
For truffles not consumed when received, change the napkins daily in order to preserve quality.
