Leftover Country Ham & Gruyère Quiche
A dinner feast becomes a breakfast delight An evening’s feast will often result in leftovers, which always make for great breakfast dishes. That’s the case with this dish, which was inspired by utilizing leftover ham from holiday dinners. You can prepare it as individual pies or bake up a single big one to share.
Leftover Country Ham & Gruyère Quiche

Ingredients
- 1 cup leftover country ham, diced
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups Murray's Cave Aged Gruyère, grated
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- Frozen pie crust (2 small or 1 large)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate (or the size is recommended on packaging).
- Whisk the eggs, cream, and salt together. Place the diced ham into the pie crust, then cover with the egg mixture and top with the grated cheese.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the eggs have just set (a knife inserted into the center should come out clean) and the cheese has browned slightly, rotating halfway through baking process. Let stand 5 minutes, then cut into wedges.
