Murray’s Charcuterie & Cheese Chalet

Skip the classic gingerbread house this season for a snowy scene with a rustic chalet using just cheese, charcuterie, and some sweet accompaniments. Our house made of Comte is just one way to make a stunning artisanal display for the holidays, so don’t be afraid to get creative with it by mixing up your flavors and selections. We recommend a firm cheese like an Alpine for the house structure, and sliced salami or other cured meat for the roof. Once you’ve got the basics, it’s time to get festive!

1 ea. Chocohigos Chocolate Covered Figs, 140g

1 ea. Piedras de Chocolate, 5.6 oz.

Pomegranate Seeds

Carrots + Peppercorns

Slice the Comte into long rectangular batonettes, similar to a beam of wood.
Carve out a small, circular, flat round of Stilton.
Make three small balls out of the Vermont Small Goat Log for the snowman.
Get creative! You can craft your own Charcuterie & Cheese Chalet however you like, but for this version, we’re using logs of Comte for the structure of the house, with a roof made of shingled salami.
