Made by Murray's Internship: Calling all aspiring chefs! Made by Murray's seeks skilled cooks who value good ingredients. Our catering and prepared foods department uses fresh, seasonal ingredients to serve our growing catering customer base, as well as create prepared foods and our signature sandwiches for our Bleecker Street store. This small, intimate kitchen environment is the perfect place to learn and refine your craft! Excellent opportunity for culinary school student. This internship requires a 3 month commitment and 2-3 available days per week.
Affinage Internship: This internship is perfect for those who want a deeper understanding of the cheese business. The caves represent the heart of Murray's, and collaboration between the buying, selling, and production teams. Interns assist the affineur, or cave manager, in all of her tasks including: unpacking and checking quality on all incoming cheese, selecting product for both retail counters, hands-on cheese care, maintenance of the cave area and general inventory management.
Internships require a three month commitment. Applicants should be available for two full weekdays or three half weekdays, and must be able to work on Monday and/or Friday.
