
Nothing screams summer like a day out of the city. Pastoral pastures, friendly farmers, and summertime sunshine. But instead of skipping to nearby neighbors, we're making this epic day trip to VT! As fanatics of VT artisan cheese, we're joining 1,000 other lovers of cheese (and beer, wine, and other artisan foods) at the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival. And we want to share it with you.
Join 55 other fanatical farm lovers (including many of the Murray's Mongers) on an overnight bus trip. We'll meet at Murray's at 12:01 AM the day of the festival (Sunday August 23rd . . . mark your calendars) and ride through the night to arrive in time for breakfast at the Farmer's Diner.
All diner fare, all local ingredients. The owners of Dancing Cow and Blue Ledge Farms will join us, too. Enjoy farm fresh frittata, Praline Maple Toast, or VT Smoke & Cure Brunch Board with locally raised and smoked meats. Sip it down with a thick shake (come on, we know you're dairy die-hards).
