We’ve teamed up with The Macallan to put together a suite of recipes, collections, and pairing guides, along with a special edition of our very own Hollander that’s washed in The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old.
Hollander Special Edition & The MacallanIt’s the perfect pair! We’ve partnered with The Macallan to create a Special Edition Cavemaster Reserve cheese that is every whisky lovers’s dream! Perfectly pudgy in the paste and pleasantly weathered on the rind, our sheep’s milk Hollander is washed with The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. The whisky imparts a subtle maltiness to a flavor profile of sweet cashews. Pour yourself a dram and cut yourself a slice.
How did we come up with this version of Hollander? We knew that a nice Scotch and delicious cheese made the perfect pair, so why not wash the cheese in top-notch Scotch! We partnered with one of the best. The Macallan distillery prides itself in quality and character, as well as, using traditional methods and craftsmanship. Some might say we make the perfect pair. We chose to wash our cheese in The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. This whisky is a fully rounded single malt with flavors of honey, citrus, and ginger. Our caves team bathed these wheels in booze, let them age to perfection in our caves, and brought out an extra layer character & craftsmanship to our Special Edition Cavemaster Reserve Hollander.
