Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed With Blue Cheese
Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed With Blue Cheese
A smoky, textured bite of rich flavor This classic appetizer combines three intensely savory elements, each with a distinct texture and rich flavor profile. Medjool dates, known for their sweet, caramel-like essence and tender mouthfeel, are the perfect vehicle for creamy blue cheese. We’ve chosen Rogue Creamery Caveman Blue, an award-winning wheel that’s mellow and milky, with gentle fruity undertones and a hint of spice from its blue veining. This dense, milky cheese creates a surprising creamy interior for the cooked dates, which we’ve wrapped in Benton’s Smoked Bacon to bring out the smoky flavors of the cheese and add a mouthwatering savor to these bold little bites.
