Fresh from the grill, this recipe from chef and owner Matt Hyland of NYC’s Violet, a restaurant in the Pizza Loves Emily group, is serving up a creamy, crunchy bite topped with some sweet heat. Made with stracciatella, the stringy, mouthwatering inside of a ball of burrata, plus a drizzle of Blank Slate Szechuan Chili Oil, it’s lightly charred and topped with fresh radishes and spring pea shoots. Pizza Loves Emily, created by Matt and Emily Hyland, is a series of New York pizza restaurants including fan-favorite Emily, located in the West Village and Williamsburg.

Directions

  1. Grill pizza dough on both sides, 2-3 minutes, until grill marks are present.
  2. Toss pea shoots with Szechuan Chili Oil.
  3. Top pizza with dollops of stracciatella, pea shoots, and radishes.
  4. Drizzle additional Szechuan chili oil for an extra kick (optional) and enjoy!
