Vermont Creamery Fromage Blanc 8 oz
Let your yogurt take the morning off, and give this a try instead. Fromage Blanc is the French answer to yogurt - fat-free, fresh, and slightly drained cow's milk cheese. The recipe is inspired by cheesemaker Allison Hooper's time apprenticing in France. The fromage blanc she enjoyed as dessert - mixed with a tad of sugar - made the perfect snack morning or night. Vermont Creamery's fromage blanc is slightly thicker than yogurt, and a scoop of strawberry jam or a drizzle of honey would make it the best breakfast staple. If you're looking for something more savory, whip into a fresh dip with dill, pepper, and lemon and serve at a party.
