Gruyère Moléson is handmade from a single-family cheese dairy, and with every bite of this pliable, dense Gruyère, you can taste the artistry and dedication to craftsmanship. It matures for 18 months—the perfect amount of time to develop a balanced brothy and caramel flavor. Browned with age and pitted with tiny holes, its flavor is so nuanced and layered that it’s well worth eating as is or paired with slices of some hearty Tanara Culatta. Round out your spread with the acidity and spice of Pacific Pickle Works Asparagusto or the sweetness of Murray’s Sundried Cherries.

"This is simply the world's best Gruyère. Deep and intense and brothy, with tyrosine crystals like savory pop rocks. I serve it simply with squares of dark chocolate to let the artistry shine."

  • At Moléson, they make their cheese over a wood fire in an Alpine hut.
  • The term, “Alpage,” means that this cheese was made in the summer, when the cows are up in the mountains eating the alpine grass.
