- This bar is made from 67% single-origin milk and dark chocolate. This percentage is higher than typical milk chocolates, which gives the flavor more bittersweet dark chocolate notes.
- Ranger Chocolate Co. was founded by George Domurot and David Beanland in 2013 in the Central Eastside neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
- With a mission to create chocolate using only organic and fair trade (or better) ingredients, the founders’ visited Peru in 2014 where they met with cacao farmers to choose the origin and type of beans they’d use in their chocolate.
- Their bean-to-bar chocolate is made in their Portland factory, from roasting the beans to hand-wrapping the bars.
