Murray's Classic Baked Brie

There are few appetizers more impressive than a baked brie. With little more than a sweet element, a beautiful round of brie, and some puff pastry, you can have a crispy, crowd-pleasing starter that people can’t help but crowd around. While we chose the holiday flavors of cranberry-orange preserves and the naturally sweet-spicy notes of preserved walnuts for this rendition, any fruity jam or preserve would work in this recipe.

4 tbsp Murray’s Cranberry Orange Preserves

2 oz. Murray’s Preserved Walnuts, roughly chopped

1 egg

Preheat the oven to 375F.
Place the round of brie in the middle of the puff pastry, and spoon over the walnuts and cranberry-orange preserves. Carefully fold over the puff pastry to enclose the package.
Make an egg wash with the egg and one tablespoon of water. Transfer the brie to a parchment-lined baking sheet, and brush the pastry with the egg wash.
Place in oven and cook until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately
