We’re putting our own twist on the classic Bees’ Knees cocktail, a Prohibition-era drink made from gin, lemon, and honey. For this version, we’ve used our Wildflower Honey for a touch of floral flavor, and added Burlesque bitters, which have floral and berry notes, to add some depth. We suggest pairing this bright mix with sweet, creamy cheeses like Bijou or something a little more savory, like Cambozola, a milky blue cheese.

Ingredients

Cocktail Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaking tin and add ice.
  2. Shake and double strain in to a coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with a lemon twist expressed then cut and put on the rim.

How to Cut and Serve

  1. Triangle slice the Cambozola using a cheese harp or wire.
  2. Serve the Bijou whole.
