Mozzarella in Carozza
Mozzarella in Carozza
A traditional Italian grilled cheese If you love mozzarella sticks, you’re in for a treat. This classic Italian dish is fried mozzarella in sandwich form, with a touch of tomato sauce or ‘Nduja to add a fresh and savory flavor. Crispy, crunchy, and delectably cheesy, these simple fried sandwiches are perfect for easy entertaining. Our Lightly Salted Mozzarella, which provides the mouthwatering filling for these bites, is made from the original Italian recipe, which requires fresh curds to be stretched and pulled, then popped into boiling water before being formed into the smooth elastic ball of bright cheesy flavor we know and love.
