Aperol Spritz

The taste of Italian Summer in a glass.
Aperol Spritz
There is no doubt that THE most popular drink of summer 2018 has been the Aperol Spritz, and for good reason! This coral colored concoction is based on one a classic Italian apéritifs (a low-alcohol spirit drank before meals to stimulate the appetite) called Aperol, which has a bittersweet, citrusy flavor. Combine it with sparkling wine, like the Italian prosecco, and a splash of club soda, and you have a easy drinking, low alcohol, slightly sweet and citrusy cocktail that looks and tastes like summer on the Italian coast -- though we like drinking them all year round. Enjoy your bright Spritz alongside another Italian crowd pleaser, La Tur. The decadent, creamy paste of the cheese pairs so well with the light citrus flavors of the cocktail, you’ll be transported directly to the sunny beaches of the Adriatic.
